2024 Black Farm Tour W/ Triangle Bikeworks

Our work flourishes through nurturing our community and fostering a legacy that spans across generations. We had the honor of participating in and sponsoring the inspiring Black Farm Tour organized by Triangle Bikeworks, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth by immersing them in the rich tapestry of Black history through the transformative experience of cycling.

Seed2Shirt is deeply connected to the rich heritage of our ancestors’ soil and land. Our pilot farm, “The Peoples Freedom Farm,” is a space we are curating to honor those before us while paying homage through our mission. Empower people who’ve been traditionally marginalized, create planet-beneficial products and services, and use our profits for good by supporting programs that change the world. We will be the first stop on the route showcasing our work of rebuilding Afro-indigenous cotton-to-textile ecosystems and trialing growing cotton in sustainable and regenerative ways.

This event serves as a fundraiser for Triangle Bikeworks, an amazing program that empowers young people of color through cycling and education. Halifax County, Rocky Mount, Princeville, and the Buck Leonard home are just a few of the spaces of history that will be explored.
