We could've stopped at a “branded t-shirt” but looking at the state of apparel production, the state of land loss /equity for black farmers in the US & Africa particularly cotton farmer’s, and the environmental issue related to apparel we went a step further and connected it all…
“From Seed2Shirt, your T-shirt doesn’t start in a store…it starts in the field. Fast fashion is shifting to more eco-friendly conscious models and Seed2Shirt, plan is to be a leader among this shift.”
We practice a "Beyond Fair-Trade" model sewing back into the farmers to improve the lives of small-scale and socially disadvantaged cotton farmers. We accomplish this through initiatives that expand resources, encourage sustainability, and build resilience We have collaborative partners in this work in US & Africa. A percentage of all our sales goes towards this program, supporters can donate to our work - donate here.
We're excited to share we are starting similar work in the US dedicating our efforts in direct suport of Black Farmers - cotton farmers in particular to expand access to resources, programs and climate beneficial resources. We are rooted in the spirit of service. We'll share more about this work in our US programs area, of this page, in the coming months!

Providing tools and supplies needed to successfully and accessibly flourish as farmers.
As a team, we aim to open doors for women through resources and opportunities they wouldn't naturally have access to.
Some say we only have 20 harvests left. Our cotton farmers in Africa/US are facing extreme soil issues causing impact to yield. Our Soil Science enhancement program works with farmers getting support, education, and resources on their soil.
We are devoted to sustainability and in essence, that means making sure that black farmers can not only thrive independently succeed, and build into the future.
